A. PMbus is a new communication platform/protocol between power supply and motherboard.

Q. What is Node Management?
A. Node management is one of the feature in PMbus which allow user to control and monitor the power consumption of a system node. 

Q. What are the usage and benefit of Node Management?
A. Node management can be used to limit power consumption of a single or a group of system.  By doing that, datacenter can maximize the number of system installed in a rack by monitoring and preventing the system to exceed the rack’s power (VA or AC current) limit.

Q. When will Node Management feature be available?
A. This option will be launched along with Intel’s Tylersburg platform.  PWS-801P-1R and PWS-361-1H will have this option. Expecting production in 2008 Q4 for PWS-805-1R.
