Ablecom Technology Inc., a professional provider of digital media solution, recently announced the expansion of its DPF product line into Touch Screen Media of HR-401T. With this extension of product line, Ablecom offers customers more alternative choices when doing DPF business.

HR-401T, the primary DPF, is the 1st one with Touch-Screen high performance that supports view applications of full screen of photo, movie and MP3 media contents. The content arrangement is extremely easy and intuitive. Users can manipulate the display by a stylus pen or their finger on the touch screen. Continuation of the design concept of “Heritage transferred “Silent nature” of the design still gives a sense of movement. The 8-inch 800×600 screen is bright and colorful.

“Touch screen DPF, which use a specialized kind of LCD panel, could take off quickly if designers improve reflectance and transmittance that take advantage of their greater flexibility over remote controller”, said Yang Chang V.P. of Ablecom R&D 2 unit. Meanwhile, its recent advances in technology including improved picture quality and better sensitivity to touch, combined with falling LCD prices, are increasing the viability of touch-screen DPF.

HR-401T also has built-in card slots for Compact Flash and SD memory cards and it also supports the majority of other memory card formats, then it can work with back cover closed. Aside Hide-read-card design, the HR-401T offers 4:3 aspect ratio. This aspect ratio eliminates borders around the digital photos and allows pictures to fill up the screen. The Aria HR-401T can play videos and standard music files if user really want to use a frame for that stuff.

However, this refresh DPF will cause a change in the near future. “The applications of DPF display can be more diversified. It will bring a plenty business opportunities of relative touch-screen display devices.” he added.
